Introducing our Speakers: Professor Cindy Sit - President of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA)

Professor Cindy Sit is a Professor in the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is the President of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA), Honorary Advisor of the Asian Society for Adapted Physical Education and Exercise (ASAPE), and Founding President of the Society for Adapted Physical Activity of Hong Kong China (HKSAPA). Her research focuses on physical activity and sedentary behavior in children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as adapted physical activity interventions for health promotion. She serves on several editorial boards and has published over 150 scientific papers in the field. Cindy is dedicated to promoting physical and mental health and fostering social inclusion through adapted physical activity and sports for children and adolescents with SEND.
